CPC20112 - Certificate II in Construction

About this course

The Certificate II in Construction will provide students with the knowledge and skills to undertake support tasks applicable to most construction sites.
Students will learn OH&S procedures that apply to the construction industry, how to plan and organise work, control traffic with stop-slow bat, read and
interpret plans and more. After successfully completing this nationally
accredited qualification, you will be competent in the skills required to work as a:

  • Construction Assistant
  • Trades Assistant
  • Builder’s Labourer

The structure of this course is as follows:

Training delivery

This course is predominantly classroom based. Training is delivered through our
Registered Training Organisation: Industry Skills Training RTO ID 40486.

Students are provided with the following:

  • Required course materials such as work books
  • Your student training plan
  • A dedicated and qualified trainer
  • Targeted assessment tools

Upon completion

Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a:

  • Nationally recognised Certificate & Transcript
    OR
  • Statement of Attainment (if student is found competent in at least 1 Unit of Competency)

Recommended course structure

There are no academic entry requirements for these qualifications. Students are required to provide their Unique Student Identifier (USI) which we can assist with, photo identification and meet the language, literacy and numeracy requirements.
